Orders & Payments
- How does your weekly pre-order cycle work? We operate on a direct Farm-to-Door cycle. Your order must be placed by Tuesday at 7:00 PM EST to be delivered that same week (Friday evening or Saturday). The order window re-opens every Wednesday at 8:00 PM EST.
- Why do you only authorize my payment, and when do you actually charge me? When you order, we place a temporary authorization hold on your card. We do not capture the final payment until Thursday evening. This ensures you are only charged for the exact items we are able to source and deliver after the final harvest count.
- What happens if an item is unavailable due to a harvest shortage? In the rare event of a shortfall, we remove the item and immediately reduce your total price. We only capture the final, lower amount and will notify you on Thursday once the final inventory is confirmed.
- Can I change or cancel my order? Due to our tight fulfillment schedule with our farm partners, all orders are final. We cannot accept changes or cancellations after an order is placed.
Delivery & Logistics
- What is your local delivery zone? We currently deliver to: Markham, Pickering, Stouffville, Richmond Hill, Ajax, and Scarborough. If you live within these city limits, you are eligible for our weekend delivery service.
- When will my organic products be delivered? Confirmed orders are delivered every Friday evening or Saturday. Delivery times vary by location and route efficiency to ensure your produce arrives at peak freshness.
- How much does delivery cost? We offer a $6 flat rate for our local delivery zones. This fee remains the same regardless of order size. With an average order size of $24, this fee allows us to maintain the specialized handling required for farm-to-door service.
- What if I am not home during the delivery window? Please provide instructions for a safe drop-off location (e.g., "leave on porch") and ensure a cooler with ice packs is ready. We are not responsible for spoilage if products are left unattended for an extended period.
Quality & Standards
Are all your products genuinely certified organic? Yes. 100% of our ingredients are Certified Organic under the Canadian Organic Standards (COS) and verified by Ecocert Canada.
Where do you source your products? We partner directly with trusted Canadian organic farms. When local items are out of season, our partner farms source from ethical, certified organic farm partners internationally to ensure year-round variety without compromising our purity standards.
What is your policy on damaged or spoiled products? We take every precaution to ensure your organic products arrive in perfect condition. We guarantee the quality and freshness of all items up until the moment of delivery. If any item in your order arrives damaged, spoiled, or is incorrect, we request that you contact us at support@sakthisaravana.com within 2 hours of the recorded delivery time.
- Please include a clear photo of the damaged item and its packaging with your email.
- Important: Claims received after the 2-hour window will not be eligible for a refund or credit. This policy helps us maintain the integrity of our quality guarantee and accounts for external conditions affecting the package after delivery. We will promptly issue a refund or credit for the value of the affected item.
